The Academy of Spherical Arts opened in 1991 at 1 Snooker St. in the old Brunswick Billiard factory. We are a restaurant and special event facility that features twelve magnificent antique billiard tables.
The Academy is known for its friendly service, great food and outstanding selections of spirits, wine, beer, and champagne.
We offer a club like setting featuring turn of the century post and beam construction, art filled walls, and comfortable eclectic furniture groupings.
Over the past 20 years the Academy has hosted film and television productions, billiard competitions, film festival parties, countless charitable functions, and political gatherings.
All of Toronto's professional sports teams have enjoyed celebrations at the Academy; in fact if there is a reason for getting together and celebrating, it's probably happened at the Academy.
We are open to the public seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and brunch. We have four private spaces available for special events and occasionally we are closed to the public so it's a good idea to call ahead so you won't be disappointed.
